Life Support Award

Nominate someone today!

Jack's Generosity is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Life Support Award. Nominations may be submitted online through March 15th. This award will be presented at Jack's Generosity's upcoming Unique Jeans event, hosted April 25th at WOMPA in Tulsa.

The Life Support Award recognizes individuals who embody the spirit of Jack's Generosity's mission to support others during some of life's most courageous and challenging moments — from prenatal diagnosis and maternal-fetal care, to Labor & Delivery, through NICU or PICU critical care, and throughout the rare disease community.

This award honors those who spread selfless kindness, go the extra mile in showing compassion and care, and encourage communication, advocacy, and connection within their workplace and community.

Nominees may include maternal-fetal care providers, Labor & Delivery nurses, NICU and PICU healthcare professionals, hospital staff members, as well as rare disease advocates and champions who are making a meaningful difference for patients and families navigating complex medical journeys and rare diagnoses. These individuals often serve as steady guides for families from the earliest stages of diagnosis through some of their most uncertain moments.

The following criteria will be applied when nominees are considered for this Award:

  • This award is open to anyone who works in any capacity in Oklahoma maternal-fetal care, Labor & Delivery, NICU, or PICU settings, as well as individuals who demonstrate meaningful leadership, advocacy, or support within the rare disease community.

  • Examples of acts of kindness are outlined in the nomination form.

  • Clear demonstration of the impact this individual has had in their workplace, advocacy efforts, and/or community through kind, caring, and compassionate actions.

Jack's Generosity board members will review complete nominations and announce the Life Support Award winner on or before March 31st. The winner will be notified and invited to Unique Jeans to accept their award.

Through this event and other activities, Jack's Generosity generates funds to support NICU and rare disease patients and families through comfort box deliveries and other projects. Unique Jeans will highlight Rare Disease Awareness or ultra-rare mitochondrial genes. The event will feature drinks, dinner, music, silent auction, and more. A portion of event proceeds will be designated to fund CureARS research projects.
